Course Description:
The American Heart Association’s (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both an effective team member and team leader in either an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting.This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, provide early use of an AED and relieve choking. This course covers patients populations of all ages. The course reflects science and education from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
